Kefalonia has a very rugged coastline which gives way to many spectacular beaches many of which are in close proximity to Sami Beach Villas:
Myrtos Beach: This world famous beach is approximately a 20 minute drive from Sami Beach Villas, the water there is forever changing colour with no two days being the same, the white pebbles and sand which the beach is made up from is a sharp contrast to the seas magical shades of blue, turquoise and green which are admired by visitors from the viewing point above or from the beach itself.
Agia Paraskevi: The largest of many beautiful coves along the eastern coast between Sami and Agia Efimia, a pebble beach with sun loungers and umbrellas for hire as well as being a good area for snorkeling.
Sami Beach: An uninterrupted beach which spans between the village of Karavolymos to the town of Sami, backed in areas by eucalyptus trees the beach is a mix of sand and pebbles and has the added bonus of being only 50m from the Sami Beach Villas.
Loutro Beach: Is the first beach to be found when leaving from Sami town towards Antisamos Beach, a pebble beach which can be accessed by foot or by car is a well-kept secret ideal for snorkeling or fishing. When swimming in the clear blue/green waters stunning views can be enjoyed when looking up to the rich greenery which covers the surrounding hills.
Paliouras: Found along the coast leading away from Sami in the direction of Antisamos Beach, this is one of the many picturesque coves in the area and is only accessible by boat or by way of a small footpath.
Antisamos Beach: Another of Kefalonias more famous beaches made even more famous when some of the filming for Captain Corelli’s Mandolin took place here. A pebble beach excellent for snorkeling, with crystal clear blue/green water and backed by an abundance of lush green trees.
